The 3rd Annual Paint the Town in Waldoboro Maine Celebration, will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008. This event is a day of painting, scenic beauty, and a celebration of art in the beautiful Medomak River valley of midcoast Maine.
Paint the Town provides artists with an opportunity to paint from unique and private vistas around the town of Waldoboro and then sell their paintings at a live auction that evening. A 25% share of the auction proceeds benefit the Medomak Valley Community Foundation, the Medomak Valley Land Trust, the Waldoboro Library, and the Waldoboro Lions Club.
Located in mid-coast Maine, on U.S. Route 1, Waldoboro provides artists with great vistas of the Medomak River, along with rolling hills, and historic buildings and homes.
