The Waldoboro Fire Department is an all volunteer department, that is currently served by 26 members. The Department is a member of the Knox County Mutual Aid Association and the Lincoln County Fire Chief's Association. As such, the Town can provide assistance to a large number of communities in the two Counties.
The Department is in need of additional volunteers, especially during the daytime hours. To apply, please contact the Fire Chief, Richard Glidden, at (207) 832-5369, pick up an application at the Town Office, or go to the Employment page to print out an application.
