Origins Committee - Interested in the history of Waldoboro? Or its archaeology? How about the changing relationship with the land? What ways do you connect to the past or feel its pull on the present?
The Waldoboro Origins Committee is a new town committee whose task it is to develop a deeper understanding of the past’s ongoing effect in our lives and identity ways it can inform Town planning, development, and identity.

Economic Development Committee - The Economic Development Committee of the Town of Waldoboro is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all of its residents by attracting, expanding, and retaining diverse business and job opportunities, while sustaining and promoting the town’s rural character, its commercial downtown and historic village, and its natural resources.
Board of Appeals - Hears administrative appeals of Code Enforcement Officer and Planning Board decisions. Also, hears variance requests from the Land Use Ordinance.

Water Utility Committee  - This Committee meets quarterly to review the operations of the Waldoboro Water Department which services are operated by Maine Water.  They also provide advice and guidance on potential rate increases and capital improvement plans.

Sylvania Development Committee - Have ideas about how you would like to old Sylvania site redeveloped?  Join this Committee.

Brown Tail Moth Advisory Committee - Interested in addressing the Brown Tail Moth infestations in Maine?  Want to learn more about these insects and how to control them?  Join the Committee.
